We’re trained to believe that our money is “just about the numbers.” This is true . . . partially. The truth is that this is an aspect of money — the Masculine Money IQ that focuses on structure, logic and rationale of personal finance. This is also the aspect of money that gets top billing in our accounting practices.
But what about when you feel things in your body about your money? What about when financial vulnerability gurgles inside you like this:
- When you feel your body responding or reacting to your finances and it affects your numbers?

The truth of the matter is that these elements (and more) affect your numbers and your money more than you think — negatively if you don’t have a handle on them and constructively if you do. I’ve been naming and navigating these phantom financial experiences for years with my clients, giving individuals an improved clarity of their inner landscapes for better financial results.
Even while traditional accounting might see these practices as silly, I have evidence (linked) that a financial presence practice while consciously navigating energetic, emotive and biological financial triggers is powerful and effective to creating improved financial outcomes.
This soft-sided and compassionate money practice is what I call EQ-Money Accounting that illuminates your numbers in new ways, naming the un-nameable feelings, sensations and energies with your money. This is where the unknown, unidentified, ignored and avoided EQ-Money phantoms that affect your money get acknowledged, named, held and healed so that they don’t hurt, overwhelm, trigger or confuse you with money anymore.
This is the process of financially walking yourself home, holding hands with your inner-money children so you can finally heal and become a whole adult with your personal financial landscape.
