We’d recently experienced a tragic loss. And on top of it, what had seemed to be a solid rental situation began to disintegrate around us as our landlords exhibited greater mental and emotional illness.

In the middle of it, I knew in my heart of hearts I could never rent again. And thus began the adventure of requiring the Universe to provide us with the home of our lives when our financials could least support it.  What we did defied the odds.
